The Compass
The Compass is a tool intended for engineering professionals trained abroad. It provides an overview of the steps needed to obtain an engineer’s permit in Quebec.
By asking a few questions, this tool will compare your file to those that have already been analyzed by the OIQ and will guide you in your efforts to have your diploma or training recognized.
Please note that many different paths are possible depending on your degree or diploma. A specific and personalized result can only be obtained once you have submitted an official application for admission to the OIQ.
